FAMILY
Constellations
Healing from within, restoring balance generationally

Family Constellation is a therapeutic and experiential approach that helps reveal unconscious patterns, inherited beliefs, and emotional dynamics within a family system. By bringing these hidden influences into awareness, it creates space for healing, greater self-understanding, and more fulfilling relationships.
My practice invites women into a journey of remembering and healing. It honors the stories carried through generations, helping you release what no longer serves you and step into your life with greater peace, clarity, and connection. Together, we honor what came before and release what no longer serves.

I want to be a participant:

What's a family constellation session like?
In a group setting:
-
A Seeker (client) presents an issue they would like to understand or work on (for example, difficulties in relationships, recurring conflicts, grief, or feeling stuck).
-
The facilitator (therapist) asks a few questions about the person's family history to identify important family members or events that may be connected to the issue.
-
The Seeker or facilitator choose people from the group to represent family members (such as a parent, grandparent, sibling, or even themselves) and places them in the space.
-
These representatives pay attention to what they feel in their position. They may notice emotions, physical sensations, or impulses to move, without acting or performing.
-
The facilitator observes the arrangement and may reposition representatives, add missing family members, or suggest brief statements. The goal is to reveal patterns, exclusions, loyalties, or unresolved events within the family system.
-
A new arrangement emerges that aims to bring greater understanding, acknowledgment, or balance to the system.
-
The participant observes the process and after the constellation with the aid of the facilitator they reflect on any insights that arise.
Family Constellation practitioners view the process as a way to make unconscious family dynamics visible. Participants often report gaining new perspectives on their relationships and personal challenges.

Group Session
SEEKERs (2 per session) - $150
participants (minimum 8) - $15
In a group setting there's a collective and communal healing that's quite magical. Often times whatever issue the seeker brings, participants can either relate to or experience some level of healing by witnessing or representing someone in the seeker's family constellation.
Individual Session
An individual Family Constellation session follows the same basic principles as a group session, but instead of using other people as representatives, the facilitator uses a combination of guided meditation, floor anchors, and visualization techniques to bring the same level of healing to the seeker as in a group setting.
Story Constellations for Film, TV & Theater
A unique creative process that applies constellation work to storytelling, helping writers, directors, actors, and creative teams uncover hidden character dynamics, deepen themes, and strengthen the emotional core of their projects. Developed from my combined experience as a Family Constellation facilitator and professional storyteller, this method offers a powerful new tool for artistic development and collaboration.

about the facilitator
Maia is a certified Family Constellation facilitator and multidisciplinary artist based in NYC. Originally from Paraguay, her practice draws from her training in Family and Systemic Constellations, the Lucid Body Technique, acting studies at Stella Adler, and movement work through Juilliard Extension. Maia brings a deeply somatic and intuitive approach to healing. She believes that the body carries stories that words alone cannot reach, and that true transformation arises when we compassionately acknowledge and honor our family systems, ancestral patterns, and emotional inheritance.

The symbol I use for my practice is the Awen,
which was believed to be a gift from the gods or
a divine breath that flows into the soul.
The three pillars in the symbol represent the body, mind and soul.
